How To Submit Your Application

We require all applications to be submitted to us by email and they should be in the following format.

Introduction to your project

The introduction should clearly describe the problem or need that your project will address as well as a detailed description of your proposed solution and how it will solve the problem that you have outlined.

The article should be somewhere between 700 and 2000 words and should be well-structured and to the point whilst also clearly explaining the entire outline of your project.

Some points to consider when writing your project introduction:

  • Follow a strict layout – your article should follow the above layout detailing the problem first followed by your intended solution
  • Be creative – you are trying to sell your solution to us so be creative in how you describe it – we really want to get a good feel for what your solution entails whether it is a physical product or a training program.
  • Describe the outcome of your product being introduced – how will it help dog owners and more specifically how will it better the life of the dog?
  • Proof read your article once you have completed it – check it through to make sure that it makes sense, to make sure you don’t have any repetition and most importantly check your article for grammatical and spelling errors.

Key points that MUST be included in your project introduction

Be sure to include all of these points somewhere in your article, these pointers help to ensure that we have all of the required information about your project.

  • What is your project about?
  • What problem does it solve?
  • How long will it take to create your project?
  • How long will it take to implement your project into a production environment?
  • What tools and materials will you need to realise your project?

Include visual images

You can also include Images in your article to make things clear. This might be photographs but could also be graphs, diagrams or any other visual representations of your project and how you will implement it.

Please keep in mind that we can only accept 1 entry per student. If you have already submitted your entry then submitting another one will likely hinder your chances of being accepted for the scholarship program. Once you have completed your project details you can send them to us via email at the following address info@loveyourwoof.com.

Project documentation can be attached in either DOC, DOCX or PDF format and images can be attached separately in JPG or PNG format.
